It’s tough enough starting up your own business, but women in the UK are finding it harder than anyone to get the support and investment they need to make the leap.
 
While recent research has shown that 20% of women in the UK consider starting their own business, in reality only half of them actually go through with it. And as women represent only a third of those self employed in the UK, we need all the help we can to even the playing field.

Here at wirralbiz we understand the importance of providing the right support for our clients and as such tailor the support we provide to the individual client. Our role is to motivate you; arm you with the information you require to be successful and provide ongoing support during the early years of your business. The wirralbiz start-up programme comprises six session workshops and provides free professional advice to
assist with compiling a bespoke business plan around your individual needs whilst providing step-by-step
support and training, in addition to a grant to assist with those initial start-up costs. We then stay with you for the first three years trading. Many of our more than 1,000 business starts will tell that starting their own business was the best move they ever made.
 
It starts by attending the wirralbiz 'Awareness Session'. This is a three hour workshop to give an insight into the
world of being your own boss and how to make you richer, faster!
